OmegaX

Author: Todd Hoffenberg (Entakrid)
Release Date: June 1 1996
Story: You awaken…Memory lost. You are on a column in broad daylight. All you can remember is something about imposter aliens and kill kill KILL… You rub your eyes and can’t believe the beauty. You must have fallen through a time warp or something, because you appear to be in a gothic past that boggles your mind. This appears to be a large library area in a shrine, but there are no obvious exits. Apparently, this is some kind of virtual reality simulation. They really didn’t skimp you on the detail! Every corner of the marble walls are shaded to perfection, and light sources from torches illuminate hallways. This beautiful arena, however, quickly turns into a deadly surprise! Don’t gawk at this place too long, or you will be crushed by incoming bullets in an instant! This is a moderately sized dukematch level that’s perfect for 2 to 8 people. 3 or 4 is reccomended, and 8 is a bit crowded, but it is still extremely fun gameplay with 2 people. There are several neat effects such as fountains, archways, floating stairs like those in quake, advanced lighting effects, cracks, and other neat things. Needless to say, it took a LONG time to make this level! Enjoy!
