Story: After saving the world yet again, Duke was enjoying a vacation in his luxurious apartment when the aliens decided to strike again in his very own street.

A medium sized urban map. Done in the classic style; the atmosphere relies heavily on strong shading and texture combinations. The down side is that when some of the texturing choices and usage are a bit off and when alignments aren’t done, it takes away from the ambiance, as is the case in a few areas of this map. Locations include street areas, roof tops, utility rooms, a bar, and a pool hall, but a good portion of the action takes place in and around an underground parking garage. Trimming and detailing are minimal, but adequate for the style. Architecture is squared and blocky as per style as well, but there are a few over sizing issues.

Game play is a key card hunt while battling a constant flow of aliens. Action is maintained throughout, including the necessary spawns during backtracking. Duke starts out with only a pistol and little availability for healing, but the arsenal quickly accumulates and health kits start showing up regularly. By the time the player reaches the back end of the parking garage, the heal-ups are lying everywhere and Duke has enough artillery to take on a small army. Unfortunately, that small army never shows up.
